'The Lord says "My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations." Mark 11:17 Our desire is to minister to Jesus and make His heart glad. One way we do that is by communicating with Him in prayer. Prayer is not an option. It is vital! Jesus set an example for us. If He needed to pray, we need to also. When we come into His presence, we come expecting Him to reveal His heart to us. He guides us in how we pray. And it is His desire that we should pray together as a body united in His purpose!'
Focus
Sunday Morning Prayer (6 am)
Each Sunday morning the altars are open for individual or corporate prayer. The main focus during early Sunday morning prayer is one of preparation for service for the day. Prayer is often extended for the leadership of the church and for the Holy Spirit's preparation of the hearts of members and individuals who will be visiting our cities churches that day.
Sunday Service Prayer (10 am)
The purpose of Sunday Service Prayer is to provide a hedge of prayer around the church and the body during the worship and sermon time on Sunday. We want to pray for: the worship service, Woodland's financial needs, the message and our Pastors, the leadership, the general health of the Woodland family and for God's leading and blessing on Woodland Worship Center as an influence on our community.
Tuesday Nights (7 pm)
Tuesday evening prayer is a time of fellowship and dialogue with God. For the spiritually hungry, this is a time of deep calling unto deep. There is a focus in prayer for Woodland, the leadership, Oben, SonCells and other ministries. Specific prayer requests are welcome!
ePrayer (24/7)
Part of the vision for the Woodland Worship Center Website is having a link for prayer requests. By clicking on the link you can submit a prayer request and it will get prayed for within the next 24 hours. The purpose for this ministry is so that at any time, day or night, if someone has an important need that he or she wants prayer for, that person can submit it via the web and someone from the prayer team will respond back to that person with their prayer. ePrayers are confidential and anonymous.
All Night Prayer (Second Sat. each month 8 pm - 8 am)
"Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;" All night prayer provides individuals extended times to quiet their souls and receive from the Lord. During all night prayer we have a time of praise and worship. From time to time there is corporate prayer at the altar; sometimes there is only individual prayer. Although individuals are tired the following Sunday, they are always refreshed from spending time in the Lord's presence.
