Signs of Life

Location: Woodland Worship Center, conference room
Time:  Sunday mornings 8:45-9:45  How does the world recognize us as God's ambassadors?  Signs of Life are the signs to the world that Jesus has transformed us and that we are committed to Him and His kingdom.  They are signs that ought to be detected form across the street, over the fence, down the hall, throughout the office, or in the pews.


The Holy Spirits Plan:  A study of the book of Acts
Teacher:  Pastor Jonnie Sharp
Time: Sundays, 8:45-9:45a.m. (January 13th to March 1st)
Location: Woodland Worship Center, Vinéa Youth Room
Acts is one of the most controversial and powerful books of the Church's history.  We will discover again the Holy Spirits love and passion for the Church.  We will understand the Holy Spirits' purpose in the Church and what it means to be a witness of Jesus Christ.


Tuesday Classes

New Members Class
Teacher: Pastor Tony Ropson
Time: Tuesdays, 6:30-8p.m.
Location: Woodland Worship Center, Pastor Young's office

Are you interested in church membership at WWC?  Or do you just want to know more of what we are about?  This class can help you make a good decision about church membership with Woodland.

Studying Ephesians
Teacher:  Pastor Howard Young
Time:  Tuesdays, 6:30-8:00pm.  (January 15th-March 3rd)                       
Location:  Woodland Worship Center, conference room

The book of Ephesians is addressed to believers who are indescribably rich in Christ, yet living like spiritual paupers.  Because of the Christian's spiritual blessings, he has all the resources he needs in order to live a life "to the praise and glory of His grace" (1:6).  Learn how a Christian's spiritual walk should be rooted in his spiritual wealth.

 

Small Group Classes (in homes)


Faith Builders deal with vital concepts of a Christian's faith and trust in God:  why we need faith, righteousness by faith, and examples of biblical faith are among the topics examined in this class.  This group will meet on Thursday evenings at 6:30 beginning on February 7th.  Teachers/facilitators for the class are Tom & Sharon Motley.  They can be reached by phone at 347-0870.  (4 week long class)

The book of Galatians will be a biblical study of the great themes of Galatians, including freedom from the power and penalty of sin through acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord of one's life.  This class will cover foundational biblical truth for the victorious Christian life.  This group will meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm beginning on February 6th.  Teachers/facilitators for this class are Dean & Ann Bramschreiber.  They can be contacted by phone at 362-0932 (3 month class)

The Power of Worship will examine biblical aspects of faith and worship and how these aspects are incorporated into contemporary worship.  How does one enter the presence of the Lord through worship?  What are the great qualities of worship?  These and other questions will be answered.  This group will meet at 5:30 pm on Saturdays beginning February 2nd.  Teachers/facilitators for the class are Richard & Rhonda Wynn.  They can be contacted at 532-9022 (4 week class)
